Your total comes from three things — crew size, hours worked, and drive time. Here's exactly how it's calculated. (Moving in the UK? See UK services & pricing →)
| What | Rate |
|---|---|
| Crew of two movers | $150 / hour |
| Each additional mover | +$50 / hour |
| Commercial moves | $100 / hour |
Need a bigger crew? 5 or more movers are available — just let us know the job size when you request your quote.
Drive time is charged from the moment we finish loading the truck to the moment we finish unloading at your new place. Under an hour, it's a flat fee. An hour or more, it switches to an hourly rate.
| Drive time | Fee |
|---|---|
| Under 1 hour | $50 flat |
| 1 hour or more | $100 per hour |
Every home is different, but here's what most jobs run.
| Property size | Typical time |
|---|---|
| 2 bedroom | 4–6 hours |
| 3 bedroom | 5–6 hours |
| 4 bedroom | 6–10 hours |
These aren't part of the standard hourly rate — add them when you request your quote if you need them.
| Service | Rate |
|---|---|
| In-home moving (heavy item repositioning) | $100 / item |
| Bed disassembly & reassembly (both) | $100 / bed |
| Bed disassembly or reassembly (one only) | $50 / bed |
| Carpet cleaning, per room | $150 |
In-home moving is for repositioning heavy items — sofas, washing machines, and the like — within the same property, not a full move. Furniture disassembly covers beds only, not wardrobes, desks, or other furniture.
Just need one carpet done rather than a whole room? Priced by size instead.
| Carpet size | Rate |
|---|---|
| Small | $50 |
| Medium | $75 |
| Large | $100 |
