This website is operated by Servant Moving LLC, a limited liability company registered in Connecticut, USA, which provides removals and storage services in the United Kingdom from 12 Wilson Close, London CR2 6JT, United Kingdom.

For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, Servant Moving LLC is the data controller for personal information collected through this site.

2. What information we collect

We collect information you give us directly, primarily through our quote request form and our online booking agreement. This may include:

• Full name
• Phone number and email address
• Preferred moving date
• Moving-from and moving-to locations (town or postcode)
• Property size, preferred crew size, storage size, and the services or optional extras you ask about
• Any additional notes you choose to provide
• When you sign a booking agreement: the name you type as your signature, the date and time you sign, and basic technical information about your browser

We do not collect or store payment card numbers on this website — online card and PayPal payments are taken by our payment providers on their own secure pages. We do not knowingly collect special category data through this website.

3. How and why we use it

We use your information to:

• Respond to your quote request and arrange your move or storage — lawful basis: taking steps at your request before a contract, and performing our contract with you
• Contact you by phone, email or text about your booking — performing our contract with you
• Issue invoices, take payment and keep accounting and tax records — performing our contract, and meeting our legal obligations
• Keep a record of the terms you agreed to when you booked — our legitimate interest in being able to show what was agreed
• Improve our services and this website — our legitimate interests

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

4. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run this website and our business. They only receive the information needed to perform their function:

• FormSubmit.co — processes and emails quote and booking form submissions to us
• Netlify — hosts this website and keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type)
• Payment and invoicing providers — receive the details needed to invoice you and take payment when you pay online

We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. International transfers

Servant Moving LLC is a US company, and some of our providers operate in the United States, so information you submit may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We only work with service providers that maintain appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

6. How long we keep it

We keep quote and booking information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain business records and meet legal or accounting obligations — typically no longer than a few years after your last contact with us, unless we are required to keep it longer by law (for example, invoices and accounting records).
